Alex Barker's Meccano Models & Instructions.
Below are my booklets which I have created. Each booklet has clear plastic ascetate for the front and back covers and a plastic spine. All photos are in colour. Each booklet includes text of how the models go together, introduction and a parts required list.

M001 - Car & Caravan
This is 2 booklets, 84 pages in total, one for the car and one for the caravan. These booklets consist of introduction with general construction tips, full written text instructions, colour photos throughout, with labels tying the text in with the photos, and a parts required list.
This model is made from a range of parts with some quantities outside that of the scope of a Meccano Set 10, however the model was based upon the Meccano Special Leaflet 10.29. The car is motorised with a PDU motor, has a three-speed and reverse gear box, working brake and clutch pedals and hinged doors, plus front wheel steering. The car from the 10.29 leaflet has been updated with a realistic windscreen, radiator grille, front bumper and the rear of the car has been opened up for rear seats.
The caravan has been updated with stabiliser legs and new outer-body plating. The caravan has a lift-off roof (with skylights), and the whole of the caravan has been done out inside with furniture, featuring the following: bed, bedside cabinet with lamp, cooker & grill, sink & draining board, seating area with table, curtains to all windows and a toilet cubical, complete with toilet, sink and even toilet roll and mirror. The toilet cubical door is hinged and so is the main caravan door. The caravan can be hooked up to the rear of the car, as expected.

M002 - Chess Set
This 18 page booklet comes complete with numerous colour photos plus full instructions for this chess set - board and pieces. With usual introduction, general construction tips and parts required list. The number of parts for this model are beyond the limits of a Meccano Set 10 for some of the parts.
This model is complete with chess board with 1.5" thick base walls, and all 32 chess pieces designed to represent the different shapes/types of pieces on a regular chess board, and both sets of pieces being distinguished by use of different coloured Meccano parts. The board measures 20" x 20" with a 0.5" frame around the edge.

M003 - Early 20th Century Tram Car
A 28-page booklet with colour photos inside the front and back covers, plus a section in the middle of the booklet. Full instructions of this model, with introduction, construction tips and parts required list - note, some of the quantities of some of the parts are outside that of a Meccano Set 10.
The model has been based upon a number of Meccano model trams, plus an old Matchstick Maker model of a tram I once built. The tram is motorised by a PDU motor, plus has working brakes on the front and rear wheels, and includes details such as curved stairways, seating, and trolley pole. The track is also included in the text of the instructions.
